Nearing the End

 • Hi readers!

Wow… another week in the books. It’s crazy to think that we only have a little over a month left of school. I feel like there is so much we planned yet didn’t accomplish this semester. Although that’s alright, because it gives future classes something to do and make sure it is done better than what we originally planned.

 • I’m getting accustomed to the weekly routine now after snow days, breaks, etc. This week at YES we were very short on students which some blamed on the nice weather. Those of us who were at YES took advantage of that weather and took some hula-hoops, and a basketball and soccer ball out back to do some photography. I think that was great especially since we had been inside for many weeks. I think those who were there enjoyed going outside. For me, in future weeks I’m not going to be as participatory in the sports as I want to shoot some more partially because I feel like I’m not taking enough pictures.

 • Next week I’m looking forward to going somewhere in Philadelphia to shoot with the kids and hopefully somewhere outside of the Fairmount section too. Like I said before, we’ve been cooped up in the shelter for a while and now that I think of it… maybe in the future this class should be in the Fall instead of Spring. That way there is a longer time of nice weather and more time to shoot outdoors. And then in future weeks towards the end of the semester I’m hoping the students keep with the program regardless of the weather because we will be going cool places around Philly.
Hoping for the best…
