Someone once said "What I like about photography is that it captures a moment that’s gone forever, impossible to reproduce."  I feel that sentiment as well when I am shooting - from capturing less fortunate families at tent city to my own family spending quality time at the zoo.

Photography captures memories that I can always have.  It also allows time away from my own hectic life to view beautiful places and people. It allows me to see a different world through the lens.
